Doing it the "Wright" Way since 1984!

This project was substantially completed in six months.  This bridge spans 121-feet across the Black River and is built in the Town Lattice Truss style. The work on the bridge structure involved substantial structural repairs to the each lattice truss, including complete replacement of the bottom chords, 30% replacement of lattice members, all new floor beams and lower lateral bracing, new laminated deck, partial rafter and knee brace replacement, and all new roof sheathing and siding. New standing seam metal roofing was also installed.

 

Other work included new steel guardrail, new concrete abutment caps, re-graded approaches, and placement of 145 CY of stone 4 to 5 feet in diameter in the river to buttress the dried laid stone abutment. The concrete abutment was refaced and insecticide/fungicide and fire retardant coatings were applied.
