Mount Holly - Log Cabin Renovation

The Owners of this adorable little cabin in Mount Holly, Vermont wanted a complete renovation of their kitchen, to add on a bathroom, and to update the electrical and insulation aspects of their home. We sealed up all of the drafty spots and cracks to save on heating costs and prevent critters from getting inside. We modernized the kitchen cabinets and countertops, as well as the light fixtures. It's got all the comfort and commodity of a traditional home, while still maintaining the old log cabin vibe. One of the Owners of this cute little mountain cabin is an author! We expect many drafts of novels to be written by the cozy fireplace in the living area. A neat feature of this cabin is the Dekton countertops. Dekton is a newer material which is made  by mixing the same raw materials used in the ever-so-popular quartz, glass, and porcelain countertops and shaped with immense pressure and heat. They are practically indestructible and you can cut with a knife right on it. The Owner's wanted the countertops to last forever, so Dekton was the best option, even thought it's a bit pricey.  Check out the photos of this renovation below.
