Calvin Coolidge Visitors Center

This project was a 6,700 square foot addition to the existing visitor center at the historic Calvin Coolidge Homestead site in Plymouth Notch, VT.  The design team was lead by Black River Design of Montpelier and administered by Vermont Department of Buildings and General Services.  This project provides for new exhibit spaces, a classroom, and office space for the Coolidge Foundation, a presidential library, an archive vault and new public restrooms.  The existing visitor center was built in 1972 and was renovated as part of this project to create new exhibit spaces.  Wright Construction was one of 5 General Contractors statewide recognized by the Vermont Associated General Contractors via the award of the 2010 Best Builder Award for Construction & Renovation.
